My only problem with the stock mirrors is that the arms are too short. I'd like them a little further out.
They sell an extension piece that raises the mirrors up. It does not move them further out, but by raising them, you might get the effect you are after.
Manish, dude, you know your bike is sweet. And no, the mirrors are not gay. That word sure does seem to be popping up here a lot. I seriously put into question anyone that states something is gay. Always seems to me that they are trying hard to state what they think gay might be, to prove that they aren't. LOL Makes you really wonder as to their chosen sexual orientation, IMO. LOL
Try em out the go with the ones that feel the safest in all driving situations.the guy who called them gay may have first hand experience at being gay dont sweat it.
I think young people use the word "gay" to say anything that is a bit on the lame side! My daughter uses it a lot? I am the type that function with mirrors is most important over style. On my Dyna WG I have Harley Profile Custom mirrors with slotted stem. Cat # 91697-06 and work great and I can see most everything. On my UC I have the stock mirrors and they are just fine.
Hey Screws. You got a part number for those mirrors. I have the HD split vision mirrors and I like them, but they bang my Clearview. Yours looks like they are far enough out that they might not. Thanks in advance, and ride safe.
I swapped my mirrors awhile back as my neighbor broke one with his truck and I got the spade ones too. But it was so hard to see what was going on around me that I swapped back to stock ones. Here are the ones I used, still got em if someone wants em for $20.
