I like those PM contrast wheels. They are mostly black, and a black front end. Problem comes when if you decide to go black, where does it end, or does it? I FEEL, if you go black wheels, black front end, then you have to powder coat the engine guard, a/c, pipes, and just about all the rest of the chrome. It is a hard decision, good luck with it. And, post picks when you get done, LOL.

Wow, look at 51Moe's bike... that's the ticket! Chrome rims, black front end. Excellent job Moe!!
Ya can't beat powder coated forks for durability either. If you put many miles on the bike the leading edge of the chrome forks will eventually start to dull out from pitting but the powder coat can be buffed out back to the original shine in a matter of minutes. The forks on my old shovelhead have been powder coated for 11 years and still look like brand new. Yes... I ride it a lot!

Powdercoater that's a good point I do about 10k a year. Wish I could do more but that ugly thing called work gets inthe way. I would guess there is a little less buffing that all chrome. But to Papa's point that's how I feel. Once you go black where do you stop. I like the black on black but I better get friendly with a powdercoater.
