my 2007 Ultra is a noisey piece of crap went to one dealer in Ft.Wayne ind and they said i was not shifting right that just pissed me off, Then i went to another dealer and they knew all about the IDS and will install it the 3rd no labor cost.

One question is the heat anything to worry about?

Regarding your statement of installing on the 3rd at no labor. Is this due to some Harley bulletin that says dealerships will install at no labor ? I read in another thread earlier that during the month of October there was some special Harley was having regarding just this topic.

About the heat..known problem due to MOCO having engine running so lean. Best thing to do is some research on this web site and pick and choose your way to resolve the issues. Power Commanders, SERT's, and so on. Also, air cleaner needs upgrade, and then pipes. I am not going to even begin to tell you about it all. Just start reading and make up your own mind. Talk to other 07 owners too. Lot's of opinions.

I would like to know if there is a bulletin. Mine is fairly quiet but would like to do it.

Sorry a little off topic but if you guys have the rear wheel off to install the ids you might look at the chrome cover for it. I wish I had seen it earlier. Carry on.
