you can wiggle the handle bars thru. i used to take mine thru a 30 inch door frame. had to take the door off the hinges and remove the saddlebags (bag guards were permanently removed prior).

Sliding doors lift off pretty easily. You do not have to be skilled, just average strength.

 

I promise it will fit....just make sure you getgoingfast enough!

 

How about my roadglide? Will it fit? And how do I get it down the stairs?
