btw and fwiw ive had trouble free music for 24000 miles with biketronics stereo and amp, full use of hand controls and the cd player reads mp3...also have xm and zumo 550 mp3 player...

I had an o4 Ultra and it did not have the MP3 format installed. My understanding is that the first year for MP3 radio was 07. Bldr

Thanks for all the words of wisdom fellers. I decided to plug in a MP3 player, put it in one of my windshield pouches and ride.
