RE: Get my new bike tomorrow. Got pics!
Way to go!!!! I know when we first got ours, we only had 500 miles on it and had to find an excuse to long. Made a trip to Cali, and came home with almost 1500 mile on her.
Funny how the cagers dont understand how or why we can ride in the freakin cold!!!!!
Wish the pics had shown up, but next time Im here they might be.

Thanks. Yeah I don't know why the pics didn't come out. But if you cut and paste the url without the [img] [/img] parts and paste in the adress bar you can see them. ?

You were right it is heavier than I'm used to and I will admit to putting my foot out going around a tight corner. I guess I'll have to do more neighborhood riding to get used to slow turning. But after I got going I was fine. Felt like a kid riding his bike without training wheels for the first time. First time using floorboards too. Insert big grin here. The smell was awsome! One thing though it does not like to run cold. Only thing that got cold on me was my hands. Well it was 24 degrees this morning when I picked it up. But, 2 pair of long johns, jeans, a teeshirt, new HD sweatshirt and my leathers took care of the core. Well I was only supposed to go 10 miles but I put on a hundred and two today. Just couldn't park it. Lots of looks like I was an idiot driving a bike out there today, but had fun. Got it home just as the sun was going down and took these pics. Thanks for the advise. Now that I actually have the bike I feel like I can post some stuff on the forum...So watch out!

Sweet looking ride!! I've got a Street Glide on order through AAFES in Black Pearl and I really dig seeing examples of the color. Reminds me why I picked it! Glad you having such fun on the scoot. Stay safe, ease into it, and enjoy!!
Enjoy the ride.

Do you have a pillow and sleeping bag in the garage? 'Cause the concrete is COOLLLD!
They've said it all, enjoy the ride.
