Have any of you guys tried this stuff with steel wool? I think I read somwhere you could use #0000 steel wool on chrome with no scratches,wondering if that is fact or fiction.

0000 steel wool WILL scratch if yourub too hard. I have a brand new scratched up Pro Pipe heat shield to prove it. Dropped a microfiber towel on it when it was hot and nothing would take that black mess off. The steel wool did, but there are fine scratches throughout now.
