I sure would like tochange my Street Glide fairingto a Road Glide fairing. Anyone ever do this? Is it possible? What are the costs?

I can't see changing the fairing out to be too difficult. I'm stuggling with the Speedo and Tach.

 

Do a search. Someone added a RG fairing to a Road King not to long ago and did a really nice walk through with pictures.

I saw a RG fairing on a V-Rod. Looked pretty cool. Someone makes a kit for doing this.

 

I have an 04 EG (same as the SG) I did the complete swap one year ago and have been very happy with it - it ain't cheap or easy but I had alot of fun doing it - Both KT and Doch4m helped a lot - DO NOT buy parts from your lock dealer unless they can match the chicago harley 20% off and NO Sales tax... shipping is very good... Talk to Sue.... Tell her the Turlock FF sent ya... again... lots of pats to swap out.. biggest exp will be the wiring harness you will/should buy... takes several... but it can be done... You should do the math first and make sure you are OK with the cost... get a parts book and add it all up...
