For those that have installed the Ultima 6 speed kit or anyone else that may know, I am putting this unit in my 2001 Ultra. It calls for the part to extend the oil spout. After looking at this, wouldn't it be better to just modify the stock oil spout so it will fit around the wider Ultima bearing housing assembly so your dipstick will still read the correct level of oil? And if you modified the spout, how did you do it and could you post some pics if you have them. It seems to me the extention will throughthe readingoff by an inch.
