Default Stage 1 Air Cleaner ???

I own a 2006 Road Glide, nice bike looking to upgrade to stage 1. Which is better Arlen Ness Big Sucker Kit or the K & N filter kit. I'm looking at using the S & S "SPO" slip on mufflers. Of course the remap will be done as well.
Thanx.

NESS BIG SUCKER - The BEST YOU CAN GET for the $$$ - Get the Chrome Backing Plate one...

And don't RE-MAP - Get a Fuel Management System - T-Max - P Commander - or what ever your pocket book can handle...

My dealer recommended the Ness over the SE; cost him about $30 in sales or saved me $30; depends on perspective. Plus the acutal filter is K&N

I had a K & N and switched to a Big Sucker. If you go with SPOs, I have a good dyno map that I had done while running the SPOs.

If it is the AN bs, it is not a K & N filter. The filter is reusable, though. I went with the SE a/c. Bad decision on my part. Now I have to buy a chrome back plate, and already bought the K & N. [:@]Save yourself the time and money and get the AN bs with chrome back plate from the git go. IMO

Ness got the non chrome ( cast aluminum) backing plate, hit it with BBQ flat black paint, run as an open element using the 100th AC insert as the end cover

Can't speak for K&N, but I have the Ness BS Chrome version and it is absolutely first rate quality and at a great price. Install was clear and easy. I did the TMax with autotune and Rineharts at the same time. Its like a different bike.
