Default Alloy art stabilizer

One of the things I was going to do while upgrading, was get a true-track or something similiar and sta-bo bushings. It was suggested that the Alloy Art was cheaper, was more adjustable, and does a better job of stabilizing. Does anyone have experience with the a-art.

Looks like a brand new product. I'd wait until some of the magazine guys test it out and report on it.

At $399-$499, it's not any cheaper. The TrueTrac I believeis $395.

I have one, that is still installed with over 1,000 miles on it. The key to the Alloy art working is adjusting it to make it work to your riding preference. You install it, ride it, adjust it until the handling is just right for you... That is is reason it is adjustable.

I think the product works great

I believe Sta-bo says not to combine their bushings will TT, or similar devices.
I can think of at least one person here who tried both and was not happy with the results, and I think you'll find that Sta-bo alone won't get the job done.

I have Alloy Arts Touring XR. When I first installed it I immediatly felt the difference. After about 2,000 miles I've gotten used to the ride so I can no longer feel how it is working but I will say this; I purchased it because I was getting a wobble when hit by a crosswind. It would scare the crap out of me. Since the install I have not felt a wobble. I do think I get a slight bit more vibration but no big deal.

I have the Alloy Arts as well, purchased it from Zanotti for $335.00 plus shipping. I noticed a difference and highly reccomend it.

I have 6k on my 07 RG and I never get the wobbles and see no need for such an item. Just my opinion. Now IDS sounds interesting and will
keep my eyes open on feedback.

As you put more miles on, you may change your mind. With 18,000 on mine, I still haven't had a wobble that I've noticed riding, but I can induce one on sweeper to the left with just slight input on the handlebars. At my 20K checkup I'm having the swing arm bushings checked.

This is a well documented problem that has been researched and reported on intensely by many magazines, including MCNews and American Rider. The new rubber mount Sportsters have the third link, but the Big Twins still don't.

Just type Harley Wobble into Google and you'll have enough reading for all day.....
