Steve,

MSRP on the Ultra 2 tone is 20,405.00 Freight is 270.00 for a total of 20,675.00 That leaves 1,118.00 for dealer prep. Did you get the first service with the deal. If you did, that is worth about 350.00, which would leave 768.00 above MSRP. Not too bad, considering what some dealers try to get.

Regards,

Bill

Bill,

Unfortunatley, I didn't get the first service. We worked three hours on this deal. I was about to drive my wife crazy. She's the type that would prefer me to get to the bottom dollar, and then have her just come in and sign the forms. Bikes are going above MSRP around here unfortunately. The dealer I bought from in my opinion is the preferred dealer in our city. We worked the numbers as I said for three hours, and felt that this was the best we were going to do. I could have gone outside of the metro area and purchased one maybe at MSRP, but then I might have had trouble coming back for service. We figured that it was worth a little above MSRP if we had to in order to keep good service on the bike when we had it in the shop.
