Gotta get me a trailer

Gotta get me a trailer
Wife and I are leaving in the morning for a 2 night trip up to Pigeon Forge,Tn. Just for a 2 night trip we don't have nearly enough room , tour pack and saddle bags can't hold any more. Between rain gear , light jackets , couple change ofbloomers , shaving kit bag and a few tools storage space gets gone quick. Anything over a 2 or 3 nights I could see a trailer to pull behind the bikebeing a good investment.

The Wife and I have gone for weeks at a time (Vacation) and only packing in the saddlebags - tourpak & tourpak bag???
Just did laundry every other day & there is always a Wal-Mart in every town if ya forgot something
UPS - is MUCH CHEAPER then a trailer - Ship it to your Hotel\Motel & ship it back home!!!

Two nights and you need a trailer? Are you bringing your own bed?

HA!! You've NEVER seen mah better half on vacation! Thar's reservations out west whar they know her by SIGHT - literally!! She's the Love of My Life, but she don't pack light!
Then again...let's look at our travel pack-out...35mm camera & tripod, digital camera, rain gear, chaps, leather AND mesh jackets (we hit temperatures from the 30's ta the 100's), coffee percolator & coffee/creamer/sugar, first aid kit, tool kit, full bike cover, 4 1-liter fuel cells, rags & cleanin' gear (in case the bike gits REAL bad), an' enough clothin' so we only stop every 5-6 days fer laundry. Wife likes to "look good" fer me - that means a bag fulla war paint an' hair dryer, etc.
We HAVE packed it all onto jest the bike by leavin' some of the stuff out, but then it's a hassle with worryin' that stuff shipped back will (1) git ta the house, an' (2) still be thar when we git back. This way, we jest pack it into the trailer an' go on our way.
Of course, havin' the ice chest on the front of the trailer means we've ALWAYS got cold drinks at hand!
