belt deflection
ive read in the manual about adj the belt (for after i do the IDS) but WHERE do you measure it? is there a guage or window down around the belt somewhere??

There is a window in the lower belt guard of the touring models that is marked off in 1/8" incraments. You should be able to see the belt or the cradle on the tension guage through the window.

Set the belt with your riding weight on it, that way it will not be tight when it gets hot. Doc

65 lbs with the supplied bolts that come with the IDS, It come with all the instructions but you can press the bearing in with out the HD tool. Doc
