Trycyclespot.com they have all the cables in a package dealfor all types of Wild 1 bars andtheir tech people are very helpful. I just purchased bars and the cable package to match with no problems.

I put 518s on my RK Custopm using the original cables -- they worked pretty well. However, if changing to brainded, I'd go with +4. The wiring will fit OK as-is.

I just put these on the bagger I'm building. I called Wild 1 and asked if my stock cables would fit. The response was, "they should" or "probably would" or " I think you'll be fine". When I pressed the tech guy he tried to tell me that different years/models of baggers had different length cables. I told him BS! I also told him I don't want to take my frontend apart and find out after the fact I needed longer cables, etc. He then said 3" over everything would be sufficient. I orderd 3" over clutch/throttle cables, and 4" over brake line from HD.

further, in the above post I'm talking about a dresser, not a Road King. I have the Chubby bars on my Road King and the cables fit fine. I had to solder 8" extensions on all the wires to install them internally (my bike is a 1999).

I put the 518s on my 06 RKC and I went with Magnum(http://www.magnumshielding.com/store...4&keywords=*) Shielding. I love the look and they are working great. I went with Wild 1's advice, they say the bars will work with stock length cables but they also tell you that they will work better if you add 2 inches to the Idle and throttle cables. Stock works for the clutch cable. Sorry, I can't remember the recommendation for the brake line but I followed their advice and it came out perfect. Also, Magnum's site has a very user friendly setup that guides you through the whole process. Also incase you need a hand I have included this site https://www.hdforums.com/m_1328001/tm.htm. It is the single most informative source for the project you are about to take on. It will make everything a very easy and pleasant experience. I hope this has helped you. Have fun.

Jeff
