Default street vibrations in Reno

If anyone is headed to street vibrations in Reno and going over Donner Pass on I-80 the road stinks, they are doing road repairs in several locations and paving some too, there is a lot of debris like asphalp chunks and rocks and the road can be horribly uneven and grooved. I drive it every week and this week was bad, took out another windshield on my truck. Please be aware of this and ride safe.

Best alternative for I 80 is take Hwy 88 out of Stockton. I live on 88 and it's a beautifull and scenic ride over the pass. Thousand of bikes pass by my house each year going and coming fron Reno. What a sight and sound. I may not make it this year as I have other commitments that can't be helped but will look for you guys to pass by. Rev 'em up when you pass through Pioneer will ya?

I live here in Reno ... Every year Summer is Road Construction Season on I-80 around Truckee. Ithas been under construction for about 5 yrs now because they only have about 6 mos a year to repair it.... Yeah, its a pain on a bike.

To those riding here for SV... we have had a weather change with a cold front blowing in today & for the rest of the week. Its colder than normal and on the back roads & high passes like Donner & Tahoe there could be early morning light frostin theshadows...bring a jacket & keep your eyes open for dark wet roads

Please gamble alot, we need the money !! ......Have a Good Time while ya here

Never take 80/50 - always take 88 - yep, this year will be much cooler - however, I would prefer that to 100+... Thanks for the tip and reminder to ride safe.... SV is actually getting to crowed - We will visit Virgina City on Friday - Sat is out of thequestion - WAY to many bikes... can't enjoy the ride....

This year Virginia City is officially part of Street Vibrations. Booths, etc.
It will more than likely be more crowded than previous years unless the weather keeps people from coming.
