Default Modifying Cables

Bought some Barnett Stainless Idle/throttle cables. With the adjusters all the way out, I still can not take up all the slack. Seems the free length on the braided cable is a little too long. Thinking about taking 5/16ths off them myself. Anyone tried it? Thanks!

Default RE: Modifying Cables

You got the wrong cables or Barnett made a mistake. Either way, Barnett is a good company & will probably work with you on an exchange. Modifying 'em yourself (unless you have the tools) is not a good idea. Just exchange 'em.
