I have a 2007 Street Glide and am looking to do some low cost and simple changes to make it more individualistic. The retro tank badging is a good idea and it prompted me to check to see if there is a web site that has all of the HD tank badging symbols since 1903 and can't find one. Does anyone have access to this?

 

Has anyone done this with the Ultra's turkey platter... PBR belt buckle... emblem and what went good with the painted on stripes???

 

Im not wild about mine ('06 EGC), because they are gold, but they are stickers and appear to be under the clear kote...........

 

Man that is a good lookin badge, don't think I've ever seen it before that I know of, You have the part number?

Oh I disagree. That was one of the factors that drew me to the Classic rather than the Ultra. And it is a hell of a lot easier to clean and wax

Like mwriggs, my tank sticker appears to be under the clear coat. Is this in fact the case?

retros look nice but everyone has the same retro logo looking for a rare logo and have it color matched.

 

I went with red just to break up the black a bit. Saw a couple others on this forum have the same, it's in the HD catalog. I got aftermarket saddlebag latch covers and painted some red in them too. Different but the jury's still out on the look.
