I had the E3's on my 1800 VTX. I loved this tire and while the VTX is a tire killer, the E3 took all the Vtx could dish out. I sold the X and had put just over 8000 miles on the E3's. The front still looked new and the rear which never got better than 7/8000 miles with either the Dunlop/s or metz's looked to be half tread. It certainly was going to go well over 10,000. The E3's don't come in a lot of sizes but if you can find your size I would do it in a heart beat. I just upgraded the wheels and tires on my 02 RKC but couldn't come up with a size I needed. A very, very stiff side wall. I mean, I don't know if the E3 could go all the way flat as that sidewall would be very supportive.

I'm running E3's on my Road King. I got over 12,000 miles out of the back one and it had a few more left on it. The front one has over 14K. The first set took me from Ohio to Florida and back, to Arkansas and back, to Kansas City and back, to the Dragon and back..plus a bunch of smaller 200 mile trips.

They handle great even on tar snakes and grooved pavement..and they're made in America.

I just put them on my 2001 Ultra and though I haven't had a chance to put a lot of miles on them yet, I like them fine so far. They handle great and have a firm but comfortable ride.

I ordered mine from Tires Unlimited ($201.76 total). American Motorcycle Tire also has great prices. Their prices were very close, but I chose Tires Unlimited to try them out. They are very fast!

Several people inour riding group are switching to the Elite III's on their Ultra's due to the higher mileage (12-15K rear). Excellent handling on the grooved highways as well as wet & dry roads. Our dealer is now starting to stock them due to everyone wanting them as replacements for the Dunlop 402's. I highly recommend them!

Had 11,000+ on rear, I put on another E3 because we were going on vacation. Front E3 has about 20,000 and will last till present rear gets changed. Much better wear than stock Dunlops.

I went to the National HOG rallywhere Dunlop had set up and exhibit at Smoky Moutnain HD, I breiflytalked to one of thier guys and ask him about putting a set of E3's onmy 06 RG. He told me that it would change the geometry of my ride and he would not recommend the tire.

Unfortunately they were breaking down the exhibit when I got to theirand couldn't ask any more questions, he handed me a brochuire and that was it. Does anyone know what he meant? I am ready to change my rear tire as it is BALD and need a new one.
