Default Headlight modulator/relay kit.

A few weeks ago I installed a headlight modulator/relay wiring kit ($105) on my 2001 FLTRSEI2. I found out about the kits on www.webbikeworld.com and decided it was a good idea. So I purchased one from www.easternbeaver.com. The kit basically runs 2 pieces of 12awg from the battery to 2relays mounted close to your headlight. (roadglide is dual headlight h4) The promise is full voltage at your headlight=brighter headlights. An option was to have a headlight modulator wired with the kit. After a few close calls where I live, I decided it was even a better idea. The headlight modulator is wired to your high beams and has photo eye to stop operating when it gets dark. Installation took about an hour. I ran the harness along with the main harness under the tank to the space before the battery.(The harness well put together with quality parts and comes with everything and some extras!)I also purchased a dual wired fuse holder ($10) so I didnt have 3 wires going to the battery. Delivery took about a week from Japan. The lights seem quite a bit brighter at night and the headlight modulator definitely gets attention. It actually is annoying. You can shut it off when your sitting in traffic by switching to low beams, so not to drive the guy in front of you crazy. Modulates from about 20% to 80%continuously. Money well spent. The posi locs and the plug in connectors made the installation as simple as possible. See some pics of the install here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/acefilm...35307155/show/

www.comagination.com offers one also. they have a 'bundled kit' that gives you a price break for getting the headlight and brakelight modulator at the same time.
