Any members here planning on riding to the HD Annual Open House in York, PA on September 28, 29 or 30?

 

any special events going on?
Other than the average "super sale" that never turns out to be a sale at all?

 

I'll be there Thurs. or Fri. There's a pinstriper there I want to check out.

 

I will be there Friday night for the block parties. The other stuff IMO is a bust. Harley dealers trying to sell the stuff that has not sold in their stores. I think last year they charged 15.00 a head to get into the fairgrounds.

 

they don't do the fairgrounds anymore, well at least HD will not sponcer activities there, because of that fee they added a few years ago to get in.

 

First off. My book says Sept. 27,28,29 for open house. That would be Thursday thru Saturday?
Have not gone in 3 years. What fee?
How about stopping at factory? last time you had to go to fairgrounds and ride a bus to factory?
All demo rides were at fairground?
I was anning a ride out on Thursday.

 

As far as I know everything is now at the Factory. They just changed it last year I think. This is bike weekend in York City as well.

 

Will be there on Fridaywith a few others.

 

What goes on at the factory?
I was in York last summer for the PA state Hog Rally and it was pretty weak w/ not many bikes in town at all

 

It's the 27th, 28th, and 29th. Everything is at factory. Dealers, vendors, demo rides etc. Went last year, it was OK but I don't need to tour the factory again or buy another dealer t-shirt. I think the vendors down the road farther have some interesting things. Other than that, it's just a ride and enjoy some friends company. That's what it's all about anyway to me, IMO. Jr.
