Who sells this "J&S"? How is that one that Kragen's sells? I need to get one soon. Silly to take em to the shop for every little thing.

Sears red, works fine for me. Best value for the money, everyone who seesthis liftcan't believethe price. As for as the stability of this lift goes, the only way my Road King will come off this lift is if I knock it off.If you are worried aboutyour bike coming off thislift, strap it down with the straps supplied with the lift (which you should do). Once properly strapped down you would have to hit the lift it with a car to knockbike off it.

relli,

I went back and looked to be sure the title said "Motorcycle Lifts." I'm thinking of taking my Sears Redjack and doing some stabilitymodifications to turn it intoa more stable unit like the Pitbull. Even though I built afull size lift, having a stable floor jack is a must.

Super jack II, great jack! use it for my ultra all the time. Do a search to find it. Built to last. Don't even tie my the bike down.

I have a jack and also have the Kendon type lift air over hydraulic. I still
need to get the oil changing pan and jack. Works great, you have to get
the right technique down to get it off the wheel chock though.

I have the Sears red jack but I like this Kendon lift.

krgs2k - Turn the part of the chock that holds the back part of the wheel around. I did it on mine. It still holds the bike well and made it much easier to get the bike out of the chock.
