Trying to finish up my ape install, and will be adding new brake lines, throttle cables and clutch cable.
Service manual mentions lubing the throttle cables, but I'm not seeing anything that says to lube the clutch cable...is that right>?

RE: Lube Clutch Cable?
I have this little tool I bought when I was racing bikes, called a "cable luber"???
its small rectangular shape metal ,hollow, with rubber in the middle, the steel cable slides in,, you tighten the thumb screw and it squeezes down on the rubber, cable and cable housing, then you get spray lube and one of them straws, stick into the hole on the tool, spray, (i use silicone) the lube is then injected down your cable.

Another way to do it, would be grab a piece of clear tubing and put onto the end of the cable. In the tube, put your favorite lubricant and then use air pressure to push the lubricant into the clutch cable. It works for me on other applications.

I had one of those things long ago but now I can't find it. Where did you get yours? Not from my garage, I hope. [8D]
