Check out this link for Todd's Harley Tips and scroll down until you find the tip on clutch cable lubrication. Never tried it so don't know if it works or not.

I'm surprised that HDdoesn't usepermantly sealed and lubed cables. I've never seen one come to think of it, but the the Auto companies use cables systems for transmissions and throttles and I don't see them going in every year for re-lube.

I use a needle and syringe to inject 3 in 1 oil down the tube the work the cable. mostly because my can of silicon spray does not have a nozzle tip for the tube. I think what i am trying to say is if you buy a cable luber make sure you buy a can of spray, other than WD40 that uses the small plastic straw to fit in the luber.
by the way WD40 drys up where 3 in 1 or silicon lubricant will not. just my opinion for what its worth.

I bought a cable luber tool, but didn't use it...the dri lube I got at the dealer came with a syringe tip that was easy to use.
