I think in another thread, monstermile(i think) posted pics on his install and said he made a pigtale to make the connections so he didn't do any cutting of stock wiring.

one of the many advantges of using the J&M speakers for the Harley Fairings, is that I personally made sure that the spade connnectors on the speaker elements are the exact same size and polarity as the stock speakers so that NO wiring modifications are necessary to your bike of any kind, when you install the J&M speakers,,,,

in additionthe J&M replacement grills for both the Batwing Fairing ((ElectraGlide-StreetGlide etc)) and the RoadGlide faring not only have the the tweeter on the grill instead of blocking the woofer, the grill itself has a more efficient perforation pattern to allow more sound to come thru ,,,,,

Are the 07s different from the 08 connections or mounts?

everything I have seen so far shows me that the J&M speaker mounting and model applications for the 2006-2008 ElectraGlide/StreetGlide Fairings and RoadGlide fairings are identical ,,,,,, and if they were not I think I would have heard about it by now ,,,,

John... will your speakers work with a biketronics amp... 75 watt per channel? what about a component set up with tweets where the oil pressue and air temp gauges should be... i have an egs
