Default vermont/ new hampshire/ new york great trip...

well we were in killington vermont.... very nice roads... then we zumoed back roads to(hit kancamungus to bear notch) mt washinton in new hampshire, climbed mt washington and went back to killington... ran route 100 nice road.... then went up to burlington crossed lake champlain on the ferrie and cruised all through the adorondacs, lake placid and such.... ended up in wilkes-barre for a few nights at my buddies bar the outsiders bar... then shot home.... nice riding, great weather, zumo was awsome (i led the entire trip) Dad had a blast on his first big trip and wants to do sturgis next year... found out that my little 98inch motor would not let my buddies 1800 wing pass me ( dead even to 120ish then we backed off.. but id crush him out of the hole) and i got 46 mpg.... good trip, needed more time to see and do more but it was a good first trip for Dad......

Glad to hear that you had a good ride through Vermont. I live just off of route 100 and ride on it all the time. Hope you can make it back again sometime soon.

We were going to do a 9 day trip through the east coast, but we ended up cutting the trip short. It rained every day we rode. we did 2,700 miles in 6 days and at least 1500 of them were in the rain. Not much fun riding that much in the rain.We went on the weekend after the 4th of July. It did look like it would be great riding, and we want to try to do that trip again, but not for a couple of years. Ha ha...I think my leathers are still damp. Glad your trip was nice.

We're looking into a trip along the Hudson Valley next summer anything I should know when we start to plan? Cool places I should see?
