Default hiway pegs on Ultra

I want to add some hiway pegs to my 06 Ultra I just bought. The pockets are empty right now so I can't afford to do any experimenting. Has anyone found the ideal mounts for this? (I've a 30" inseam).
Thanks in advance.
David

I just orders a set of these. I was worried afterwards that I'd have trouble getting them to go around my lowers.
Will they work OK?

Thanks.

I have these HD #50830-07

They are the short angled mounts. They fit me pretty well with a 32" inseam. I think they would be perfect if I were a bit shorter. They do work around the lower fairings on my 07 Ultra.

I opted to go with HD parts due to problems that I have had with Kury parts quality in the past (pitting, rust, poor hardware) and am very pleased. They have held up well for the 5 months and 5000 miles I have put on them.

I originally bought the long offset mounts and found that in the forward position they were too far forward for me to reach, and in the rear position they were way to close. I bought them at my dealer and returned them for the short offset mounts that I have listed above. I think the perfect mount for me would be something dead even with the crash bar, but with you being a bit shorter the short offset angle mounts should work well. I bought some HD pegs to go along with them. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.

Shoot...I bought the LONG angled ones. I have a 32" inseam as well.

I too went HD 'cause of too many Kury ones with rust.

I forgot to add that I also have a Tallboy seat. That may make a bit of a difference in the reach.

I bought the 50829's in Tennessee, or was it North Carolina, last week on a 1500 mile ride over four days. I have a 30" inseam and have found that the long angled are perfect for my needs. I took a set of the Kury Akyn Dually ISO pegs with me on the trip with the intention of purchasing the bars along the way. They pull back far enough that I can ride with my toes on the pegs and heels on the floorbards to stretch the feet. I can also go feet on the pegs with plenty of bend in my knees and also throw my heels over the pegs to stretch out completely. Had I gone with the shorter version, I think I would have had fewer options for positioning on a long trip like the one we did. I likely would have only been able to extend my legs fully out on the pegs without other possibilities. These things installed in less than twenty minutes at a gas station in Tennessee. Piece of cake. No regrets here!

made the same mistake with long angle hd one's.[:@]and returned.but then got the kury compareable to the short angle version of hd. Somehow I think? the kury have more adjustability? they have not shown any flaws so far.
that and kury iso wings(half peg half board, half moon shape) for 166.00 just do some searches on the web or e-bay was 40 bucks less for this set up.
I like the hwy mini boards as well. Angle arms are good for heel to toe while on running boards.

KURYAKYN makes a adjustable bracket\mount that works well on a ULTRA...
