I forgot to add that I also have a Tallboy seat. That may make a bit of a difference in the reach.
So a Tallboy puts you back further, or rather farther away from the pegs?
So with the Tallboy AND the LONG mounts the pegs were too close in the rear position?

So if I go with the SHORT mounts instead of the longs, the pegs would be about right, in your opinion?
You say the SHORT mounts are still a bit TOO short for your liking (in the rear postion) even with the Tallboy. Right?
So in my thinking I would be closer to them with the seat I have and that would make them OK?

I bought the H-D 360`s .
They will adjust to anyone.
Hi Dr.

I wasn't that wild about how 'busy' the 360s were when I saw them.

My guess is that with the short angled mounts and the stock seat it will work well for you. The short mounts with them in the rear position (the forward position is still to far forward) it is still a little close to me for my taste. The Tallboy seat moves you up and back so I think the stock seat will leave you in a good position. My recommedation would be to buy your parts from a dealer so you can take them back and exchange them if they dont work out. My dealer was more than happy to do that after checking to make sure all the hardware was still there and they were not damaged.

With either one-short or long- they will adjust 3 ways other than angles. Forward for long legs, mount forward with peg back for med. legs and back with peg backward to short legs. I like the long arm ones because they have more adjustableity if that is a word. The long arms work well and will add several inches to any direction you want to go. I prefer the kuryakyn. I have never had a issue with their chrome. The allen bolts may rust but I use polished satinless any way. Solves my problem.

I got the Ironside pegs and billet mounts,,, like the ones on an 06SEUC. I reversed the mount, It puts the peg closer to the seat. I have a 30, inseam and it works for me. I mounted them as low on the bar as possible just before the bend. Also tilt them backwards so they fit squarely to the bottom of your boot when on the bike. It helps a lot.... Dan

I know those mounts. I had considered getting them but they only give you two options, (either rightside up or down) other than higher or lower on the crash bars.
