It will run on race gas, but why would you want to? It costs over 6.00 a gallon and unless you have some out of the world compression its not going to do much of anything premium 93 won't do.

My '06 Ultra had one catylitic muffler (right one) as a stock set up. As I recall from the early 80's, leaded gas will mess up a cat muffler. You might want to check out your muffler configuration before using much leaded gas.

TNBagger is right if you have a Cat it will destroy it. I used to put cat eliminators for riding south of the boarder. I would just stay with the 93 octane like gunrunner said you just wont get anything out of it on stock engine.

If you have an 02 equiped bike, the lead will "kill" the 02 sensor.

You don't need any higher octane than what is recommended unless you have changed the pistons/cams/cylinders to be higher compression than stock. It will not make the bike run better, it won;t get you more power, it will only make you poorer and the gas company richer

Lead is very corrosive. One of the reason spark plugs and engines last so much longer nowadays is the absence of lead in the gas.
Don't use it.

I would think it'd run somewhat hotter as well.
