oil came out of the servicing valve. Do I have a problem or is this normal? Never noticed it before.

I have noticed that I have had a very small amount of oil come out of mine before and the cap area always has a oily film on it. I would guess that it is normal.

My understanding is that oilmay sometimeswork its way up the air lines to the valve. If you want to let air out of the shocks you should connect the pump and ADD a bit of air first and then let the air out. Adding air pushesany oil in the lines backdown into the shocks so that it doesn't come out of the valve when you let air out.

As Tech2 stated....before adjusting air pressure, pump up the rear shocks just a little and that should clear any oil out of the lines....then adjust as needed.
