Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I gotta say the candy red is one of my favorite Harley colors of all time. Definatley want the GPS Backrest and Highway pegs. Also some slipone mufflers a tunner and Hi Flow air kit. Just want a little more punch and to get that motor cooled down a bit. I miss the 110" but I gotta say the 96" is no slouch and I have heard it reponds amazingly well to a opern filter and some slip ons with a tuner. My biggest question isI really like hearing my music and being able to converse with my wife on the bike so I would like to keep the exhaust the same level as stock but with more performance. I don't mind a little more sound but not too much so any reccomendations would be great.

Congrats on the new ride. Im old now (30) but I bought my EGC earlier this year while I was still 29.I wish I would have bought it at 23.

As previously stated, welcome to the country club. (I like that statement and it's so appropriate for here!)

I too have an '08 FLHTCU in Candy Red Sunglo. One of the best colors to come out of HD in years. One of my best friends thought I had a custom paint job done. I had to prove to her with the internet that I wasn't kidding!

This is one great bike. You'll have no regrets. I do... just wish I'd made the trip to geezer land years ago. But buying this bike one day after my 55th b-day made me feel oh so much better!

 

Baggers have more fun. Welcome - good choice.
