OK, I SCREWED UP...ANY HELP???
OK, I admit it, I screwed up. I added a little oil the other day and must have added a little too much. I went for a ride and noticed oil along the rear sides of the bike. Came home, checked the oil level, a little high, and changed the oil. After making sure the level was correct, went for a ride and still have oil coming out of engine. However, I notice it is coming from near the front, not sure exactly where. Has anyone else screwed up like this?..LOL...Could the oil coming on the bike now be residual from before readjusting? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, ride safe....Renegade Wheelman

overfilling leads to oil being blown out the tubes behind the air filter,,,beacuse of engine pressure,,,
your oil level ,hot, should be 1/2 way between marks..
try a turkey baster, suck some out,,,,, youll be ok

RE: OK, I SCREWED UP...ANY HELP???
Thanks for all the input. Just a couple of quick notes. Most of the oil is on the left side of the bike, away from the air filter, and seems to be coming from the front of the bike. I checked the filter and it appears to be fine (I see no oil in that area). I have changed the oil so far 3 times in the last 3,000 miles (I wanted it to get to the clear looking stage asI bought the bike used), and have used only Harley oil with the last change using Amsoil. Once agin, thanks for all the input, it's greatly appreciated.....Renegade Wheelman
