Default Spoiler Installed...Now Where the HE** Do Wires Plug In?

I've got the Tour-Pak spoiler installed, wires are run under the seat. Harley supplies a half Deutsch connector section and explains where to plug the three wire in.
THEN...directions say to "remove plug from the accessory connecter located under seat (connector number [4A] in wiring diagram in service manual). Connect wire from spoiler. Turn on Ignition switch and test spoiler light operation with taillight and brake light.

I have no idea where to plug this into. Also, I have no accessory plug under seat as shown in owners manual. WTF?? I do have a cig lighter in fairing that manual doesn't show

Anybody have a clue to where to hook this up?

Thanks!

I believe they are referring to the spare aux wiring connector near your battery. should be laying in there.

Should be on the primary side of your seat. I'm assuming this is the same connector that I plugged my SG rear facia light into. It might be tucked slightly under your rear frame horn cover.

The instructions are correct. I just put mine on a couple weeks ago. The accessory plug they refer to is under the seat near the battery. Look in the gap in the frame between the battery and the gas tank an you'll find it. Mine was cable tied to another set of wires. I clipped the cable tie and was able to get the accessory plug to run along the left side of the bike frame under the seat. This way, all I need to do is lift the padding of the seat slightly and I can easily unplug the connector and pop off my tour pak in a few seconds.

Good Luck!

I couldn't find the plug because it was buried under the battery. Took battery out and found that something else was already plugged into it. Since I have the battery out, I can't determine exactly what is plugged in. But, I'm guessing since I had the dealer add the parade fan to the bike before I took delivery, it' probably whats plugged in. Need to get a Y connecter to enable me to plug two items into the accessory plug.

Thanks especially for your help SOOS.

Do each of the spoiler (tourpak and each bag) lights have a running light and brake light in them? I'd like to get more brake light area on the back of the bike and that seems to be a good way to do it, if so... Oh, yes, pics would be very nice too..
