Default Touring Bike Center stand

I just won a bid for a usedHDtouring bike chrome center stand for my '05 EGC. The seller doesn't seem to know how it's mounted to the bike. It appears that two lugs mounton theengine guard bolts (with spacers) and two lugs are bolted under the voltage regulator. Is this correct?

Thinking theygo in the back of the frame, rear area of the primary, under the passenger footboards. You can see it in the picture of the part on the HD site.

Thanks for the input daconiam. I've found out that there are two styles depending on the year/style. One that mounts up front (the one I bought) and the one you mention that requires a mounting bracketthat mounts under the passenger footboards.

I bought the Rivco centerstand.Their adjustable versionworks fine on my 06 FLHT/I with Harley Low Profile shocks. Very easy to install, two bolts in the hour glass part on the lower frame. It is a handful to get it on the centerstand after riding all day, but worth it while cleaning or servicing the bike.

You are correctfor the front mount. If you did not get the nuts & bolts you will need to find longer bolts. Hopefully he gave you the spacers for the crash bar/engine guard. The studs under the voltage regulator you will have to drive out(they are pressed in).
