I enjoy the local group and also enjoy the 10% off at the local dealer for HOG memebers. You have to join the national to join thelocal to get the 10%.

so you'd have to spend over 700.00 before you start seeing any savings. doesn't work for me. not saying it doesn't work for you, though.
here's my hog story: new years eve. the wife and i go for a little ride, probably about 150 miles total. well, we've been on the road for maybe 45 mins (its about 2:00 in the afternoon now), pull off in a parking lot to discuss the route, you know, wanna turn here or go straight? so, i hear this hissing sound. son of a b*tch!!! gotta nail in my tire. no problem, we'll just call hog and get the bike towed to the house. yeah, right. hog could not find anyone who was willing to come get us. cant fault them too much, at least they tried, but after 3 hrs, the wife rode the 50 miles home, hooked up our trailer, drove the 50 miles back, we loaded up my bike and drove the 50 miles back home.....
it wasn't long after that that i switched the rear laced wheel out for a solid cast one too
other than that, we never used anything that hog gave us, and i guess you could say, we still didn't. so not worth it for us. we let our memberships lapse. the rallys sound cool, but dayum, some of the things they do are downright expensive. too much so for this soldiers budget.

I bought my 07 RK in June. The dealer had gotten it in a swap with another shop. Somehow they screwed up and sent in the wrong VIN # and HOG was not able to register me. It is now September and the dealer can't seem to get anything done about it. Once the deal was made I obviously don't mean spit to them anymore. All my further business is going to Waugh HD.
