tie down location

RE: tie down location
Okay. I have looked into this for a while. I have found that there is a bracket that bolts onto the front forks where the fairing attaches that has a hook on it just for tieing down. Something that I thought that I would need. However I have found that a wheel chock will allow you to tie anywhere with out worry....

RE: tie down location
Over the long term I'm confident that leaving the front end free to bounce while transported will result in greater wear-and-tear than by fully compressing it and locking it firmly in place. The locking chock is a good idea but should not be the sole mechanism used up front.

I would like to know where you guys attach your tie downs on theFRONT of an Ultra (with the lower fairings attached). Thats ALL I am interested in. Not wanting to start a long thread about tie down procedures
Thanks in advance

RE: tie down location
Aren't those tiedown things supposed to lay around collecting dust on the garage floor while you're out riding the bike instead?
I know since I bought my EGlide in Jan, it's only made one trip in the trailer, and that was home from the dealer in 20 deg January weather...since then I ride
