Default 88' TC build up to 103"

Question, I got Stage two 95" PRESENTLY. What low and mid range gains can be had by bringing it uo to a 103" stroker-- no head work ?

don't bother i have built and riden on lots of 103's wheni was at the dealership and the best runnig bikes that impress me the most are always 95 high comp with a good cam and some head work. One of the best was a dyna that ran the dual holley carbs as well and the 1/4 turn twist cams on it. now that was an HTTC full set up

Why not just do some head work and Put in a set of cams that match up with the heads and bump the compression up a bit. Then your 95" would eat up a 103" with no head work. Plus you'll save $$$$.....................

It'd be cheaper just to buy the cam cover that says "103" 'cause nobody will noticethe difference if you leave the 95" alone.

Also, why the reference to 88 in the title of the thread if you have a 95???

With no cam or head work and only a displacement change, you wont gain in overall power, it should just shift the RPM range lower. Which could be a good thing

I am thinking of doing mine over the winter, I'd be happier in 6th I think

So did you do head work when you made it a 95" ? Head work is what I understand to be the key to Good torque.
