Default Oil Filter Number ???

I was hoping to do a fluid change on my '05 Road King Custom today, but I only have a filter that is left from my '03 Lowrider. The filter number is the same, but the filter I purchased for my Lowrider ends in the letter "a". Does anyone know if this is a different filter, updated filter, will it work or not?

Any help is much appreciated

"A" = UPDATE - Filter should be the same
