Seat Bolt
Just replaced my rear seat bolt on my 15 tri-glide with a 1/4 x 20 eye bolts 4 inch's long. Double nutted . Works great and you can remove it with just your hands.
Any bike running a tour pack can do this as you can not see it after installed. I think the earlier bikes may be a 1/4 x x24 thread.
I thought there ws a thread on here somewhere about this ,but couldn't find it.

I know that there are several folks who have done similar things for the seat bolt. I am always looking for anything to make like easier.
Thank you for your idea, might just try it out.
