RE: A seat for the Fatguy...on a Street Glide
I have a new Mustang touring seat, 17" with a backrest. The factory seat was a 2 hour seat. After 2 hours, I just had to get off for a while. I like the Mustang, but for me, it is not an all day seat. I can ride for about 4 hours and my butt starts aching a little. The Mustang is so much better than the factory, but I have to tell you, I am a little disappointed that my butt gets sore at all. I guess I was hoping for something better.

My vote is for a Corbin! I had one on my Road King Classic and loved it! With the stock seat I could ride about 40 miles before my butt started to bother me. With the Corbin I can ride 150+ miles with no problem! The seat feels hard but is more comfortable to ride with. A Corbin is the one I will be getting for my Street Glide. Oh yeah, and just for the record I'm 6'4" and weigh 400 lbs. Good Luck

I have a friend that rides a Softail, he's 300 if he's a pound. Threw away his Mustang (literally) and rides a Corbin.
I don't work for Corbin, and I want you happy with your seat...I think you should look at getting a used one of each on Ebay and then reselling the one you don't want, or reselling both and getting a new one of the one you want...it won't cost you much more than the shipping of both...cheap investment for a $400+ purchase.

Mac, Where were you when the brains were handed out? At the front of the line??? I had never thought of that before and think it is a great idea. It would work with many things where you had a question and there was availability and demand.
I actually think that this is one of the most innovative ideas that I have heard in a long time![sm=goodidea.gif] Art
