2015 had a hydraulic clutch and the exhaust is still in the way.

On my 19SG I took off the rubber gasket strip that's on the bottom of the cover after loosening the cover and I was able to slide the cover out without loosening the pipes. When I put the cover back on I slid the rubber piece back on but I really don't think it's needed.

I'm not sure about the stock pipes. I have a D&D Fatcat on a 2015 FLHTK. The pipes are just too close to the cover.

My brother just did mine, you can loosen the tranny exhaust mount and pry the exhaust out enough to get the cover off.

Damn. I didn't think a few nuts and bolts were that big of a deal. My biggest bitch was paying for new exhaust gaskets.

2015 the cover comes off, with exhaust on.
But what I don't like is it can fail. Given that I don't know if I would choose fluid. That said cables have lifespan.

Seems that i read somewhere that the rubber pieces in the newer bikes could not handle the Dot 5. Has anyone done this ?
Don't do that. Bad idea. 5.1 works great.
