Default 1st Mod on my New to Me CVO

Removed the heel shifter (hated that thing!) and added a chrome cap to cover the exposed spline. Much better now!

Looks good. I was thinking of adding a heel shifter maybe I'll hold off.

Different folks like different stuff. Frankly I was pissed when Harley started cheapin out on touring models and eliminated the heel shifter. One of the first things I add. More convenient and saves black shoe stains on the top of your shoes.

Good move. I too hated the heel shifter and immediately removed it from any bike that had it. But each to his own. If some guys like it, they can use it and enjoy.

The previous owner always used S3 in all 3 holes since new. Moving forward I will use Mobil1 20w-50 V-Twin in the engine, S3 in the primary (because 2 quarts of S3 came with the bike), and Valvoline 75w-140 full synthetic gear oil in the transmission. This combo served me well in my 2016 Low Rider 103 HO, other than I used Mobil1 4T in the primary. I run Mobil1 in everything other than my Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi...that gets Redline 5w-30.
