Not everything the MoCO does is for diabolical reasons, no matter what the internet says.

When they did away with the grease fittings on the steering neck, they also changed the neck and the bearings to use larger more robust bearings, no doubt due to the increased weight of the newer bikes.

On bikes with a zerk, use Lucas Read "N" Tacky, no drips
