Hey genius ... Manufacturers are required by law to attach a tag to every mattress sold, including new, refurbished, and used mattresses. These tags, also known as "law labels" or "law tags", are intended to provide consumers with important information about the mattress, such as the materials used, the manufacturer, and the product's intended use. They may also include information about compliance with federal and state regulations, warranty and care instructions, eco-friendliness, allergens, and health concerns.

So my new sticker is on the forks. I'd like to remove the plate but don't know if it's okay to remove that bolt that's holding it in place.
The bike is sitting on the kickstand. Is that bolt holding 2 parts of the motorcycle together, If I remove it can they become misaligned?
I will put the bolt back in once the plate is removed.....
TIA
If someone at the state of Pennsylvania could do it and install an inferior bolt…
I am sure you could do it and put the original replacement bolt back in.

Up to you about the mattress tag, mine are covered up with sheets and I haven’t been pulled over yet.

I hate to ruin a long standing Urban Legend, but it has never been illegal for the end consumer to remove a mattress tag.

Smog checks on cars and trucks only. No smog check for motorcycles.
You can even split lanes

Odd, I just had mine inspected at Harley and they put the sticker on my little plate beside the shifter. Maybe they didn't get the memo
