bad bird! no beer for the next hour...

i had a batwing, once. i've had 3 roadglides since. been on roadglides since 2010. would not ride a batwing again, unless it was a stupid crazy deal, and even then, i'd look into converting it. and to all those people who complain about the radio being too far away, i just have one question, ever heard of thumbs? i rarely ever touch my gts screen.

When they start making a Road Glide Trike In the Ultra type, not like the RG3 I might consider my next Trike like that. No hate for the Fuglies here.

Can we discuss which oil is best for the bat-wing and which is best for the shark nose?

JMO but after having a number of bikes with frame mount fairings would never go to a fork mounted one.

Frame may be better, I don't know. But as many have said, myself included, they rode many miles on a batwing and enjoyed it. Neither one is going to kill you.

As has been said, get yourself on a test ride. I did and didnt notice any real difference between the two aside from more buffetting from the fixed fairing, which im sure could have been fixed. I just find the batwing more comfortable for me, so thats what i bought. For anyone talking about getting pushed around on a batwing, my 8000lb pickup gets pushed around, any motorcycle will too.
