Default Bike Cover

Is anyone using this cover? I saw it on eglidegoodies.com and think it would work better than the half cover I'm currently using which is pictured on a Gold Wing. I've had trouble with other covers due to the size of my Road Glide including the tour pak so the Wing cover fits great. Problem is, there isn't an accomodation for the antennas on my trunk and I've already busted the CB antenna once. (ka-ching!)

If you're using the "stretchy" one pictured below on a RG with a tour pak I'd certainly welcome your input. Even if you don't have an RG (gasp!)and you're using the "stretchy" one I'd like to hear what you're impressions are of the cover in general, especially how small it packs.

Thanks in advance for your comments, and thanks to everyone on the board for making a HD noob like me feel so welcomed. Ride safe.

I bought the H-D cover for my RG when I'm on travel. I got the plain cover without the H-D logo so it isn't advertising as much in a strange motel parking lot in the middle of the night. I have the tour pac and the H-D cover has a slit along the back edge that would go along the top back edge of the tour pac. The slit has velcro in it so you can close it up after the cover is on the bike. This allows you to leave your antennas on the pac but have the bike completely covered.
It packs into a bag that is about 15" long by about 6" in diameter, depending on how tight you roll it up. The soft bag can be strapped acrossthe back seat or on top of the tour pac if you have a rack on it.
It takes me just a few minutes to cover the bike up after the pipes cool off and just a little longer to pack it back up. It has a strap that goes under the bike so it doesn't billow up and blow off. The bottom edge is elastic and will slip over the front wheel and over the rear ends of the pipes. I usually flip my highway pegs up but the cover will go over them as well.
I think it was well worth the money.

I also bought an Exigent, Made in USA!

I don't want a cover for just the top of my bike.

I bought a generic, extra large motorcycle cover with no markings on it for $25 from a local store. Inconspicuous and does the job just fine when I have to have it parked outside somewhere when traveling.

Waterproof, covers everything, and can be snugged up well.

I am using a 1/2 rain cover for trips vey compact. Works great and keeps things good and dry. If they don't see it they may not be tempted to take it. I know it is a uc.

I don't understand the point of half a cover, myself. I use a full cover that packs down to a small enough size that it goes on every trip. It was only about 40 bucks.

I've got a 1/2 cover kinda like the one in the pic with the wing. Think it's a Dowco and it fits great with my Tour Pak as well. Folds up nice and small and does the trick to keep the sun off the seat and the rain off most of the bike when the skys open up and it all comes down. The full size covers to me are a pain in the ****.
