It is just a matter of time for everyone. Everyone at some point in their lives has dumped. Those that say that they never have I hold suspect. If you want to say well When I was a kid I ate mud, dirt and gravel daily. As an adult never spilled on a street bike of any kind I hope your luck holds out.

i'm 77 . i've dropped both my baggers and needed help to stand em up. out here in the desert with most of the roads unpaved it happens.
i just wait for someone to drive by and help. cheaper than $228 !
i just bought a new 2024 breakout. it's so much lighter, it's easy to pick up.
i don't want to give up riding yet. always figured that i would be dead by this age.

It's your call OP. I've been with folk using a jack or lift, it's not exactly quickly done, nor especially easy.
Myself, I found myself struggling with my RK that I'd had for 10 years. Age is taking its toll on me.
I switched to a Heritage softail, and that fits this older me much better. Expensive, to be sure! But I'm much happier with this bike than I had become with the Road King.

At age 73 and 5'9"/175lbs I actually "rehearse" righting my Ultra Limited. I lay it down gently (on padded floor mats) and along with a buddy to oversee the practice. It helps to practice the procedure and see which one works best......BUT I do realize that I'm practicing on a dry, fairly level and clean section of driveway asphalt....sand and gravel is another matter and much tougher.
