Much like the Twin cam initially getting the nickname Fathead it didn’t stick and are pretty much just TC now

I didn't initially like the redesign because I thought they ripped a lot of ideas straight from the Indian bikes.
However, after spending some time around the new SG and RG I can say that the new fairings and infotainment have grown on me, I would most definitely own one in the future.
The ONLY thing I don't like are the new saddlebags. They look, gaudy almost? I've seen a couple people online swap the bags for the older style ones so I know I'm not along here.

I don't care for the latest design. I bought a new 22 SGS as a left over year in Jan 23. I like the power and decided to not do anything for the engine. Nada! I also have an 87 spiked out EVO Heritage bar hopper. The more I ride it, the more I like it. So I guess I have the best of both worlds for now.

I like the old design, but also the new stuff.
No motor vehicle manufacturer will keep producing the same thing year after year (well, there was the Checker Cab...).
The company is not going to go out of business because some don`t like the new colors or styles, this is something that gets beaten to death every year.
Besides, it the new bikes looked just like the old bikes, my 35 year old Softail would just look like an old motorcycle.

I like some of the new things H-D has done but not all. An old bearded Greek guy once said 'The only thing constant in life is change' and I guess that's what we're getting in the Project Rushmore and it carries over to the M8 bikes like the new motor, frame change in the Softails, and now the new fairing styles.
