Starting to think about selling.
Well guys I've been around here a long time, not so much lately. Bought my 2010 Ultra Classic new, currently 46,000 miles. As I get closer to turning 70 in a few months starting to wonder if it's time. At the same time I love the way I have it set up , C&C low profile seat, 12 1/2 Chubby bars, low profile Progressive shocks, Stage 1 and tour pack removed. I don't know what the bike is worth but it would have to bring top dollar before I would sell it. Looking back I wish I would have bought a Heritage Classic because of my size 5'6 and 151 lbs.At my age the Ultra just feels like more weight than I want to handle. It was nice back when I use to do road trips.

If you can live without the radio and other doodads, at 5'6 and 151 a Sportster would fit you just fine. You could offer the big boy up for trade for a really clean, low mile XL1200. Or, you could pick out a midsize bike of other manufacture and do a trade-in at the dealer. This is not currently a seller's market. There are thousands of bikes for sale with more sagging prices on the horizon.

Do what you need to do if you feel old or have lost interest in your bike. I can't help with your decision but wish you luck whatever it is.
I'll be 73 in a couple weeks. Just bought a new leftover '23 Limited. Hope I can buy a few more new bikes before I quit riding. I'm slowing down as I age. Only riding 15-18,000 miles a year the last two years.

Sold my 04 RK a few months ago, and bought a 23 Heritage to replace it.
A wise decision, for me.
The Road King was always a big beast of a bike for me. But 10 years ago when I bought it, I could better handle it than I can now.
It was a wonderful bike, lots of great memories and fondness for it.
But the Heritage is a MUCH more manageable bike for me these days. So I ride it more happily, and with far better control.
