It's astonishing how much easier it is to use a simple book VS a digital copy. Next I'd like to get it spine clipped and put in a 3 ring binder as many here have done. It's hard to cut up a pristine manual that will never be printed again though - at least it is for me.
I changed out a stator for a friends 2014 ultra limited. He got one of those PDF manuals and yes, it is a PITA going back and forth on a computer to find something. I have a 2012 fltru manual and everything was about the same as far as torque specs. Voltage readouts when trouble shooting were a little different. The main reason I wanted something to go by was the hydraulic clutch. Having never messed with one of those, I wasn't sure about taking the clutch basket off. Turns out I didn't have to. Took longer to look things up then to do the job.

That’s just over 1 hour of dealer labor, it’s well worth it. And IMHO I believe the HD FSMs are amongst the best service manuals for any product,

BTW, the .pdf ones are pirated and violate copyright protection.

I'm old school and prefer an actual manual....

I get them for every bike I have owned, and keep them when the bikes are sold or traded..... They have all paid for themselves several times over...

Look around on this site, post in the wtb section. When I was looking I had someone here give me his perfect condition 2014 Touring factory service manual for the cost of shipping with a “pay it forward”. I then did the same with my 2005 service manual and will do so with this 14 service manual one day when I no longer need it.
Good luck.

Clymer manuals are junk. You can download (FREE) most H-D manuals with a simple bookface search, print all 500 pages and have Staples/Office Depot bind it for you.
search... Harley PDF Manual Trade & Share

Your got lucky Clymer manual is best used to start fires. This is a time you pay up and get it right the first time . Yes the price is steep but it pays off in the end.

Not from the womb, but sometimes it seems that long ago..... I'm 67 and I've been riding Harleys on the road since the 70's...

About the time I got my first Twin Cam, I started buying the Factory Service Manual, Electrical Diagnostic Manual, and Parts Catalog for each bike. I also kept a few Parts & Accessories Catalogs for various years...

Glad I kept them all... my brother-in-law just started a restoration of a 70's super glide like one he had in his youth. He was having trouble finding OEM parts. I handed him my 70's parts catalog, and with the actual part numbers, he has been able to track down many of the correct parts for his project..

That old parts catalog is still paying for itself...

I'm a bit of a hoarder myself always thinking why should I throw it out when it may come in handy and there have been many times when that has happened and I'm glad that I didn't throw out certain things.
